My name is Bernardo Bermudez, and I am a New Yorker who was raised in Puerto Rico. I join the Army when I was 18 in 2003 and have four Iraq your and one tour to Afghanistan. After the military I served as a Diplomatic Security for the State Department, at the US Embassy in Iraq. I am also experienced with SBA 7(a) and Commercial lending. I graduated with my MBA from UCCS in May 2026. I have been in the lending industry since 2013, and I enjoy helping others with their homeownership goals. My favorite quote that I share with others: “Your goals are my priority, regardless of the loan amount.” Homeownership can be immediate for some, and it could be 90 to 120 days or longer for others. This is why a lender who spends the time with their borrowers to understand their needs, matters—this is the space I operate in.
